DCP Party Political Affairs Director Stanley Kimure has made startling claims of intimidation, alleging that unknown individuals attempted to coerce him into falsely linking the party to illegal operations after he was abducted.
Speaking during an interview on KTN, Kimure recounted a tense encounter, saying one of the alleged abductors pressured him to write a statement detailing how the party supposedly operates.
According to Kimure, the individuals demanded that he include claims that DCP runs a warehouse in Rongai where firearms are stored.
Kimure maintained that the claims he was being forced to write were fabricated, suggesting the move was part of a broader scheme to implicate the party in criminal activity and tarnish its image ahead of the 2027 General Election.
“They told me to write how we operate in DCP and also claim that we have a warehouse in Rongai where we keep firearms and things we use in meetings,” Kimure said during the televised interview.
He further revealed that he was abducted while returning from a memorial service for former Member of Parliament David Kiaraho.
According to Kimure, the journey had been normal until he reached Rironi in Kiambu County, where his vehicle was blocked by another car carrying armed individuals, who then forcibly took him away.
