An elite KDF officer is reported to have been killed at an entertainment joint in Mwiki, Kasarani, while fighting over a woman.
According to sources familiar with the tragic incident, the officer was having drinks at the joint when he became involved in a physical altercation with another man, reportedly over a woman.
He is said to have bragged about his job as a KDF officer, prompting other revelers to gang up on him.
The victim was reportedly beaten badly, leaving him with serious injuries. He later died while receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.
The deceased was highly trained and had been deployed to the Kenya-Somali border to fight Al-Shabaab militants.
