A grieving family is calling for justice following the death of their 23-year-old daughter, Mercy Kimani, who was severely assaulted and left by the roadside.
Mercy was last seen at Tunnel Club along Mombasa Road, where she had attended a birthday celebration.
According to a family friend, she went missing on January 18.
The following day, she was found by the roadside with visible injuries, in what is suspected to have been a brutal attack.
She was rushed to hospital and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, where she battled for her life for nearly three months.
Tragically, Mercy succumbed to her injuries last Thursday.
Her family is now urging authorities to conduct thorough investigations and bring those responsible to justice.
They are also appealing to anyone with information to come forward and assist in uncovering the circumstances surrounding her death.
