The brutal murder of Kisumu-based photographer Joe Myles has sparked outrage and raised troubling questions, with friends and family demanding answers about the circumstances leading to his death.

Myles, who was well known in Kisumu’s entertainment and events scene, was reportedly lured to Naivasha under the pretext of a work assignment.

However, what was supposed to be a routine job allegedly turned into a deadly trap.

According to a close friend of the slain photographer, a mystery woman who was reportedly with him at the time may hold crucial information about what happened in the hours before his abduction.

“If she was used by the killers to bring Myles to Naivasha, then the truth needs to come out,” the friend said, urging investigators to thoroughly question anyone who was in contact with him before his disappearance.

Disturbing reports indicate that Myles was tortured before being killed, with claims that some of his organs were chopped off in the gruesome attack.

His mutilated body was later discovered dumped along the Naivasha Highway, sending shockwaves across social media and among residents who knew him.

Suspicion surrounding the case has deepened after it emerged that Myles’ Instagram and Facebook accounts were deleted shortly after his death.

Friends believe the move may have been intended to erase critical conversations that could reveal who orchestrated the killing.

Adding to the mystery, nothing else was reportedly stolen from him except his phone, fueling speculation that it may have contained important communication through WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook that could help identify those responsible.

Friends have also revealed that Myles had previously confided in them about threats from a politician who is reportedly eyeing the Nyakach parliamentary seat.

According to those close to him, the photographer had expressed concern about the threats, although it remains unclear whether they are directly linked to his murder.

As investigators piece together the events leading up to the killing, Myles’ family and friends are calling for swift and thorough investigations to ensure those responsible are brought to justice.

The chilling murder has left many in shock, with growing calls for authorities to unravel the mystery behind who lured the young photographer to Naivasha and why he was killed in such a gruesome manner.
