Police officers from Obama Police Station in Kayole Sub-County have recovered stolen items during a routine early morning patrol in the Mwengenye Saika area.

According to police reports, officers on routine patrol spotted two individuals carrying luggage in a suspicious manner along Dandora Bridge, prompting an immediate reaction.

Upon noticing the officers, the suspects abandoned the items and fled the scene.

A search of the recovered luggage revealed assorted household goods and electronic equipment, as well as a metal bar suspected to have been used to facilitate a break-in.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the items had been stolen from Full Gospel Mission Church located in the Mowlem Powerline area.

Authorities have since launched investigations to identify and apprehend the suspects who escaped.

Police have intensified patrols in the area and are urging members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
