Mourners were left in tears during a requiem mass for the late KCB Bank Head of Data Protection, Rosemary Kimwatu, after her sister, Joyce, read aloud the contents of a personal notebook the deceased had left behind.
In the note, Rosemary appeared to accuse her estranged husband, Kevin, of exploiting her financially and making her go through difficult times during their marriage.
“I worked hard and felt used and betrayed,” she wrote in the note, further accusing her estranged husband of disrespect.
Before her death, Rosemary had reportedly been kicked out of a matrimonial home that she had built on her estranged husband’s land.
The contents of the notebook have added another emotional dimension to the ongoing family dispute surrounding Rosemary’s death and burial.
