Head of Presidential Special Projects and Creative Economy Dennis Itumbi has dismissed claims that Deputy President Kithure Kindiki’s Head of Communication, Francis Gachuri, had been removed from a State House WhatsApp group.
In a sarcastic post on X, Itumbi ridiculed the reports by jokingly asking Gachuri whether he was still a member of another WhatsApp group, saying he had forgotten to remove him from that one as well.
He further mocked those behind the claims, humorously asking Gachuri to send him an invitation link to what he described as the “Stupidity and Lies Every Day” WhatsApp group.
According to Itumbi, the group appears to produce its content faster than he receives his own notifications, joking that he did not want to miss out on the day’s talking points.
He wrapped up his remarks by saying he had been told that gossip requires constant effort before adding that he had nothing more to say on the matter.
The sarcastic response appeared aimed at dismissing speculation that Gachuri had been kicked out of a State House WhatsApp group, while also taking a swipe at those circulating the claims.
