Last evening, a tragic incident was reported involving Kamau Kamoko and his wife, Phyllis Wambui, in which a domestic dispute allegedly escalated inside their home.

According to neighbours, the couple had been engaged in a heated argument while inside their locked house, making it difficult for anyone nearby to intervene or access the premises.

The situation is said to have turned catastrophic when Kamau set their house on fire.

Kamau and one of the children reportedly died at the scene.

Emergency responders later rushed Phyllis Wambui and the surviving child to Kenyatta National Hospital for urgent medical attention.

Despite efforts by medical personnel, Phyllis is said to have later succumbed to her injuries while the surviving child is receiving treatment.

The incident has left the community in shock as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
