Shock and grief have engulfed residents of Kipipiri, Nyandarua County, following the sudden death of DCP Party ground mobilizer, Coach David Ragui.

According to reports, Ragui had actively participated in recent public events in OlKalou during the DCP roadshow, where he mobilized residents to turn up in large numbers to escort DCP candidate Sammy Ngotho for IEBC clearance.

He had also recently joined family and friends in mourning Pastor John Komba of Kipipiri, who passed away days earlier.

Friends and close associates revealed that David had occasionally complained of chest pains prior to his untimely death.

Reports indicate that on the night of the UEFA Champions League final, he returned home at around 1:00 a.m.

Shortly afterwards, he allegedly developed breathing difficulties.

Witnesses say he stepped out of the house, screamed once, and suddenly collapsed.

Those around him reportedly rushed to assist and searched for an inhaler and other emergency help, but he sadly succumbed moments later.

His sudden death has left family members, friends, and political associates devastated.

Coach David Ragui will be laid to rest on Tuesday, June 9, at Tigoni in Githioro Ward, Kipipiri, Nyandarua County.

May his soul rest in peace.
