Detectives from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB) based in Kilimani have arrested a suspected burglar and recovered several stolen items following investigations into a series of house break-ins in Kileleshwa.
The suspect, identified as Daniel Mosomi Saisi, was arrested after two residents of Serengeti Court reported a burglary incident in which valuables worth approximately Sh900,000 were stolen.
According to investigators, the suspect allegedly broke into the homes under the cover of darkness before escaping with several electronic gadgets and personal valuables.
Following the reports, detectives launched investigations and tracked the suspect to Millennium Apartments along Thiong’o Road in Kangemi, where he was arrested during an operation.
Police recovered several items believed to have been stolen from the victims, including a Baseus light headset, a gaming console charging system, an iPad 11, a JBL portable speaker, an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and PlayStation accessories.
Authorities said the recovered items were positively identified by the complainants.
The suspect is currently in custody undergoing processing pending arraignment in court.
